The Highmark Caring Place, a Center for Grieving Children, Adolescents and Their Families, has partnered with 20 schools in Pennsylvania to make new school-based "grief support groups" available to children who are grieving the death of a close family member.

Highmark Caring Place honors volunteers for their work with grieving children
The Highmark Caring Place, A Center for Grieving Children, Adolescents and Their Families, recently recognized 735 volunteers, including 88 individuals who reached 5-, 10- and 15-year service milestones in their volunteer work with members of the community at the organization’s four Pennsylvania locations—Erie, Lemoyne, Pittsburgh and Warrendale.
